About the brand

A certified B-Corporation and one of the only carbon-neutral eyewear bands in the world. Over 1M pairs donated to people in need of glasses.

Founded by Dave Gilboa, Neil Blumenthal, Andy Hunt and Jeff Raider, Warby Parker offers designer eyewear at affordable prices, while leading the way for socially conscious businesses. They believe everyone has the right to see, so they decided to create better looking, better quality prescription eyewear at a price that won’t leave your pockets empty.

They had 2 goals when starting their business. First, to offer an alternative to overpriced eyewear, and second, to build a business that solves problems instead of creating them. One billion people worldwide lack access to glasses, leaving them unable to see, read, learn and work.

In partnership with Vision Spring, over 1 million pairs of glasses have been distributed to those in need. Warby Parker tallies up the number of glasses sold each month and makes a monthly donation to their non-profit partners, who then distribute them entrepreneurs who’ve been trained to give basic eye exams so they can give them to people in needs in their communities.

Warby Parker is a certified B-Corporation and one of the only carbon-neutral eyewear brands in the world.

"The bigger we get, the more milestones we hit, we realize there is such a big opportunity in front of us, we are just motivated to continue to grow and have more impact over time."
